In the spirit of National Day, the Brightside team spent an afternoon volunteering at Willing Hearts — a volunteer-run charity located at No. 1 Lorong J Telok Kurau, Singapore 425792, that prepares and delivers thousands of meals daily to individuals and families in need across Singapore.
Marking the occasion with more than just celebration, we wanted to contribute meaningfully to the community that has shaped us. There was no fixed schedule—just a shared goal of supporting wherever help was needed. From chopping fish to washing trays, our team worked side by side with staff and fellow volunteers to help keep the kitchen running smoothly.
Volunteering during this period reminded us that the strength of a nation lies not only in its progress, but also in its people, especially in how we show up for one another.
We’re proud to stand behind initiatives like this and will continue to support causes that reflect our values. This National Day, we honour Singapore not just in words, but through action and we’re grateful for all the support and trust the community has given us so far.
